About Leto Lama Fine Jewellery

A third-generation painter and goldsmith of Greek–Tibetan heritage, based in London, Leto Lama creates one-of-a-kind, 18ct gold jewels for discerning collectors. Each piece is meticulously handmade with precious stones, employing time-honoured techniques such as direct metal work, hand-drawing, gold recycling and melting, as well as the ancient lost-wax casting method.
Her journey into jewellery began in Switzerland in 2017, when a metalsmithing class ignited a lifelong passion. What began as curiosity soon evolved into a devotion to craftsmanship. Since then, Leto has mastered every stage of jewellery-making—designing, sculpting, stone-setting and polishing—ensuring complete artistic control from concept to finished piece.
Her creative process is both deliberate and intuitive: she may begin with a sketch on paper, or sculpt directly in gold, allowing spontaneous forms and unique colour harmonies to emerge through rare gemstones. This freedom, paired with her painter’s eye for colour and form, results in distinctive works of wearable art.
Drawing inspiration from mythology, individuality, and the poetry of materials, Leto Lama has established a signature style that celebrates originality and authenticity. Her jewels are not seasonal adornments but enduring treasures—crafted for collectors who value rarity, artistry and heritag
Each jewellery piece is One - Of - A - Kind and meant to be cherished for generations.
Leto's London studio is where the enchantment unfolds, as she does every aspect of the jewelry-making - from creating the model to stone setting and polishing from start to finish. Only a select few designs are chosen to be transformed into finished pieces, resulting in a highly limited number of creations each year. This meticulous approach ensures that each piece is crafted with utmost care and attention to detail, making them truly unique and exclusive and a great addition to a jewellery collection.
Committed to sustainability, the entire collection is handmade with wax utilising precious recycled metals by melting and repurposing gold scrap and also using responsibly sourced natural precious stones like Emeralds, Diamonds, Rubies, Sapphires, Paraiba Tourmalines. Some designs may also include handpicked fine semi-precious stones such us Moonstones, Aquamarines, Opals and Tanzanites.
